in Memory of Reef & Bali

“Although Reef and Bali were very much alive when I first started working with Paws Rescue, since their passing I like to think that the time I spend now, working on the digital presence of the Paws Rescue Group Organization, is in honor of their amazing lives and in gratitude for how much they gave to me with never ending love and friendship.”

Bali

Bali was the kindest little pup whom we rescued from a group of vagabonds in St. Augustine. She was malnourished and full of worms. Many vet trips later she was finally in good health and spirits. She was very much attached to myself and her mother, likely in fear of going back to her former life. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body and loved to cuddle. After six amazing years with us she was ultimately defeated in her battle with cancer. She is dearly missed and never forgotten.

Reef

I could not have asked for better best friend and could never have imagined I would be blessed with Reef for nearly 14 years. When a college roommate decided to go into the Navy it was either Reef went to a kennel, or I had to take him. I honestly wasn’t ready but would never change the decision to adopt him. Reef was always full of energy and wouldn’t leave my side, not even towards the end when his mobility was hindered, he would always be right there. He had a huge heart and will forever be missed.
